    antidote? Jerry liked disco AFAIK.

joker i'm curious to know what kinda 'funk' you listen to if you think most of Shakedown is funk music?

yea i dont think of shakedown street as funk in anyway...isnt that the album lowell george produced? i kinda feel like they were getting back to their roots on that album, parts of it sound similair to workingman's dead.

some of the songs of shakedown have elements of funk. but its not like "funk" that Phish busts or the P Funk or Sly anf the Family Stone.....but it deffinatley gets funky...i just heard for the first time ever the "Dancin in the Streets" from 10.27.79 and it is crazy funky.....Brent is busting out the Clav and getting all sorts of crazy....itsawesome...

heh i been listening to a bit of little feat, love their early shit. archive's got some. in their early days they are like the allman brothers, pink floyd's funky stuff, and dr.john all mixed in one.

I like disco....what's not to like? I mean that shakedown was created in the disco era, and not everybody enjoyed what was always on the radio.
