I'm not disagreeing that isn't fair, but when it comes to letting parents raise their kids, i understand. It's more annoying when it affects other peoples children.
I think you may be missing the facts, it was only one parent and that instead of taking their child out of the philosophy club they had the club stopped and not only that but all student made clubs were affected not just the philosophy club. Perhaps it's just me but that seems a bit heavy handed to me.
Didn't get high in high school, I acquired that vice in college. I'm quite certain if there had been a philosophy club, I was enough of a geek I would have heard of it.
