http://abcnews.go.com/US/philip-seymour-hoffman-dead-46/story?id=22335771 Dude was only a year older than me. He could have probably gone on working for another thirty years at least and he threw it all away. Heroin must me a real son of a bitch to try to kick. He had small children and couldn't stay away from it. What a stupid world.
He was one of the few actors who made every single movie he was in better. ...other than The Hunger Games. That movie is done by idiots for idiots.
He was born and raised here in Rochester. Well, just outside of Rochester. Great actor. Tragic death. Drugs are garbage... esp. heroin.
Wasn't he in Boogie Nights? But Capote first brought him to my attention (he won an Academy award for his performance)? He was very good in Doubt. A talented actor that will be missed by many. RIP. QP
