i saw a few phil shows on the shadow of the moon tour i wish i could get to a few on this tour but it looks like the only one i will see is at 10k i have way too many festival tickets to buy and dont have enough to by show tics. 10klf is going to be sick I think alot more people will be in lake sallie cg than last year because there is no noise ordinance this year and its a quick walk to northwoods and from what i heard last year alot more people will be camping in lake sallie it will probably be a party just like northwoods
no noise ordinance... thats awesome.. that means i can be complete and utterly wasted drunk and no one can shush me.... yea.. im sure sallie will be crazy also because of the acoustic performances as well that will be happening only in Sallie... BTW... anyone have an extra sallie or Northwoods reservation???
2ce's did you make it to the Hartford show? It was unreal. Opened up with Pride of Cucamunga which is a tune I've always liked, Shakedown Street got everyone up and moving and grooving. Second set was all power, Trey playin the whole set with them aah so sick. I found some killer moll on shakedown street I've never danced so hard or gotten lost in music like that. So were you there? I was up in the lawn, it was a nice scene up there - everyone was super friendly havin a good time young and old alike.
Nope. Got fucked by a friend and didn't go to hartford. Figures that it was a ripping show. I also missed the first set saturday at PNC dude to the yankees traffic in new york. Second set at PNC was absolutely blazing. The lovelight had me going crazy. All in all this weekend was a failure. Especially due to the GRAB band sucking so badly. The dew from SPAC however, was fuckin sick. Joan's voice is good.
Whaat you weren't feelin the GRAB set? They had Hartford lit up man. Phil's second set it was still kind of twilight but once GRAB came out it was nice and dark - Trey's light guy is the fuckin man! They had some reaaally solid jams going and with the lights? pff forget about it I was losing myself. That flat part of the lawn was just nuts, everyone dancing their hearts out you could feel the craziest energy down there. And yes, Joan was really good! She was kicking ass with Bertha
No offense but I'd have to be spun out of my titties with you to enjoy any of the generic pop songs and mediocre jamming that went down in both PNC and SPAC. A bunch of the jams degraded into noise also another thing I didn't like at all about the band. If I had ended up going to hartford I would have left after Phil. Tons of people started getting up and leaving PNC a few songs into GRAB.
Mansfield was SMOKIN. Trey sat in the whole 2nd set of PLF and damn hearing him on vocals for songs like Franklins and GDTRFB was such a trip! I'm glad I made it to the show.
