The Kucinich Campaign wants to make sure that Bush is defeated this year. But a weak Democratic Party that fails to meet today's challenges won't win the election. To help align the party platform with the values of most Democratic voters, we are collecting signatures for five petitions, reflecting our most urgent national priorities.
Our goal is to present a million signatures to the Democratic Party Platform Committee when it meets at the end of June, as a complement to our efforts on the ground at the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

 Universal healthcare? Are you joking me? I think it's hillarious how some people are demanding the government/everyone else pay their medical expenses.

The great thing is that it is no more expensive for our government than our current healthcare system.

That's debateable, some people get sick more than others, and thus their expenses are totally different from another person's family. Also, the quality of care is going to go down the crapper if medicine is socialized.
