This is my beautiful little guinea pig, her name is Marble and she is 6 years old in November. I adopted her when she was just 8 weeks old, and I still remember going to the pet shop and seeing all the little guinea pigs, they were all brown and white and ginger and then this tiny little black and white fluffy ball just shot out from a bundle of hay and zoomed to the other side of the pen. I knew she was the most wonderful guinea pig there and when I held her for the first time she fitted in the palm of my hand and was all soft and shaking like a leaf. Now when I come back from university in the holidays and sit down in her run in the garden she climbs/jumps up onto my lap and nestles into my arm and then when I talk and sing to her and cuddle her and feed her vegetables and fruit she makes tiny little squeaking noises and stretches out and looks all content. She is a little teeny toastie hot water bottle and I love her to bits!
