Nowadays, I can't be bothered to deal with people just out of courtesy or well-established social conventions, when I just want to get things done and do my thing. I guess I like to separate socializing and things I do for myself. And I am a private person, please leave me to be at the gym, aside from a friendly hello and goodbye.
I get that. I'm pretty much my own best friend and all source of entertainment. I loathe shopping malls and centres nowadays and just get in and get out as quick as possible. I become very agitated when isles are blocked or if I'm being held up. My tolerance and patience is almost non existent at the moment.
Today a minivan was ahead of me and it drove below the speed limit and slowed down to 5 mph to make a turn into a driveway. I just went into oncoming traffic instead of slowing for it.
What drives me nuts even more than super slow, cautious drivers, is driver's who drive reckless and act all impatient like they are the most important person in the world and have to be somewhere yesterday. Yea, well, leave early. Aint my problem you don't know shit about time management. (And no, I did not thumb down the post above me, lol.... nor do I mean the above poster, that post just reminded me).
I HATE when people leave their fucking turn signals on after changing lanes. Or when they put their turn signal on like 2 miles before they turn or exit. ommggg this infuriates me so much :cuss:
yeah, pet peeve here is careless, reckless drivers......so I don't drive, although I do have a liscence......I hired Stan to be the driver......He is an excellent driver, and he loves to drive, but I still get nervous in cars......been in two serious accidents, which I was lucky in....and I was not driving either time......
I thumbed it down because that irritates me. A family wagon or children playing in the streets could have been taken out by someone who couldn't afford to spare 2-3 seconds of their important daily schedule to be a safe driver.
I get nervous in cars too based on two car accidents I was in on the highway. One that nearly killed me when I was 6 years old and I had dreams about it for MANY YEARS. In any case I drive well. Not too fast, not too slow. Usually right around speed limit or 5-8 miles above if I know the roads and conditions are good. My husband is a GOOD driver and I trust him. BUT... But But But... He does all kinds of things to try to take shortcuts and it drives me nuts. Kinda like this... okay there are massive amounts of cars to wait on to get out of parking lot to go this way.... so he'll trying going the OTHER way, not knowing if you can go that way or not....and of course you never can so it just ends up just always taking longer. And you know if a car is making a slow turn in front of us... he has to comment on it and get all huffy. Understandable But... I always tell him it's just so much easier and less stressful when driving or being a passenger if you just sit there and chill and let things be as they are.
I hate those monster trucks on highways, and here you are in a little car compared to some of them......some of them are very tired driving....and are not too afraid having the huge vehicles that they do....
Understandable. I thought the same thing and think those types of things when I see stuff like that in real life driving around. Like when people drive down the 25 MPH street near my house that kids play on the sidewalks and sometimes the road...people always drive down it at 40-45 MPH and when ever I'm with someone who does that I don't hesitate to tell them to slow the fuck down...they're gonna freaking hit a kid or something. Irritating.
AT, I am sorry to hear about your car accidents..... I had amneisa for awhile from one of them....but I got all my memory back and it did not take too long. Amnesia sure is a trip...... Mama, Stan is my room mate over here......
I think at night time after 6pm, all streets with houses should come down to like 25-30mph. I say that because I have terrible night vision and light flares from lights and at times I really panic even as a passenger at nights with people driving the speed limit in suburbs. If.. IF a kid did come running out, even the speed limit is too high IMO and can cause death.
No, clearly not. A certain percentage, sure. There are lots of people who wouldn't like to go to the gym so much if it was without the socializing part. Nope, not just talking about guys hitting on girls working out.. I am mainly thinking of women here actually. Yeah, going to football practices and playing a competition game in the weekends is often not done in the first place for the phsysical activity In fact we call the part after the game (and practice) the third half :cheers2: It seems to be the most important aspect of an amature football club around here.
I know lots of people that go to the gym, including a bunch of women which I had in mind when typing that, but I can't recall the last time I went in one to work out there myself. Maybe when I was in (our equivalent of) high school? I see the point of working out, don't get me wrong. I just don't see the necessity for me to do it in a gym (since I don't like it there).
