Pest guy still hasn't shown up

There's a form downstairs that says a pest guy will come spray for bugs in the building today. The date he was supposed to come has been crossed out and re-dated several times but the most recent one is for today. So I put my name on the form and apartment number (and tel. No too) I called the super yesterday and asked what time he would be here so I could make sure I'm at home and he said around 10:30 this morning. It's noon now and still nothing, and I feel like he's never gonna come. I'm fuckin hungry and wanna go get something to eat but feel like as soon as I leave that's when he's gonna come so I don't know whether to just say fuck it or what.

 

Maybe he's busy spraying other apartments and just hasn't made it to yours yet.

 

^yeah, he just came. Wasn't even here long, just did the kitchen. I was just about to say fuck it too see what I'm sayin as soon as I would have left that's when he would have came and then I never would have known if he ever came or not.

 

Did you have any pests? Pest guy comes here once a month, and he is cool....but I am not sure about the poisonous mouse food traps he leaves here, anymore.

 

No, don't really see too many bugs in here, and I'd like it to stay that way.

It has been a good run.

 

They come and spray our building once a month and they used to give us a 2 hour window of time but they always showed up late. Now they just announce the day and show up whenever they want. Very annoying if you want to do anything during the day.

 

At least it was in the ballpark...only 2 hours late

 

I'm glad I've never lived in a building where I need to get sprayed for bugs on a regular basis, sounds shitty.

We did have a mouse or two here when we first moved in, but the landlord came by with some poison and we haven't seen them since.

 

My first thought when I read this post:

The landlord is actually is a powerful member of an evil alien and he has slowly earned the trust of humans. His mission on Earth is to control as many "pests" as possible. From his view, mankind is the ultimate pest. Be careful, OP.

Laundry doing its thing...mac and cheese made and eaten...Now, it will be another blue moon before I make that again....Cannot remember the last time I ate that...Used two cans of Campbell's cheddar cheese soup and added block of Cracker Barrel white cheddar and boiled elbows...easy meal, but kind of bland. Full now, though and not cold anymore....

 

I thought the pest was completely banned out in western countries in the 19th century.
