What can we do But try our best In vain of vanity To find some half pint truths That may best explain Questions without a real remainder Perception is reality's only outlet Who can say from one moment to the next If any of this is real? I believe Therefore I know In my own reassured mind Truths that may one day Be uncovered as ignorant misperception This doesn't bother me any more I'm not haunted by the what if syndrome If I'm wrong lesson learned But I'm comfortable where I am And how it all looks to me That is the real test
