I don't like people who don't wish to grow up. But, imo there are different types. Most people could quite easily manage to figure out how to use a washing machine, but they choose not to learn. But I wouldn't see that as a sign of not growing up, I'd see that as lazynees or convinience. I don't like people who won't mature...they like being a kid too much. They do childish things and make childish comments all the time. Not doing your laundry might be a sign of a lack of maturity though. Now, I have been known to do the same, but I know where the line is, I hope. I can also switch it on and off.
I need to quote this to prove there was actually a post by you without a sarcastic smilie in it! (choosing not to learn i take as ignorance. I think I agree with you, I'm lazy. And I agree with Evolving_N, also welcome N to the UK forums and HF in general!! )
theres a bloke who must be in his mid 40s who come in the bar whos exactly like that. the irritating factor of this person is second to none. and he's like that before he's started drinking so you can only imagine after 14 pints of smooth.
I forsee a mate of mine being like that, Opel. Perhaps your bar fly hasn't got what he wanted out of life, so turned his back on it. Being a kid or kid -like releases you from responsibilities and feelings, I imagine. I'd ask my mate, but, it's not the type of conversation I really want with him...as he can punch me.
I still sit by my window waiting for Peter Pan and Wendy to come take me to Never Never Land, We all can go there and never grow up.. Peace
maybe. he sure does drink a lot to. he probably has some issues. 14 pints on smooth last night. i counted.
As, for some reason, CCR have just decided to be played, but also for other reasons, let's just hug. Does it really matter what "other" people do? 'Tis not my decision.... Let people make their own choices at their own time and crap.
