which is kind of cool when you're already zoned out from mild sleep deprivation and you take some antihistamines to sleep. you're pretty much guaranteed about 10 minutes of hardcore lucid dreaming before you pass out for realz.
my dreams are insane. i have lucid dreaming down... i tell my mom about them and she's like... "ooookay. you do too many drugs."
it's some whole other shit. I wish I could do it more often. that's what I love about nyquil and all that stuff; just before I fall asleep some fuzzy and surreal scenario plays out. opiate nods are kind of like that, but better.
i get some crazy shit when i have false awakenings. like... i will be lying in bed, and my eyes will be open, but i'm still dreaming. the other night i dreamed dean was on my left talking to me but still saw him on my right asleep. i though the sleeping dean was his brother. totally bizarre.
ugh. i had a horrible lucid dream the other night. i pinched myself a lot in the dream and knew i was dreaming but couldnt wake up. i had another lucid dream before where knew i was dreaming so i started hovering and kicked this dude in the face. those are the dumb ones
nah, waking up next to dean is rarely unpleasant. unless he ate bean and cheese tacos the night before...
the creepiest dream I had recently was lucid I think, because I was in the room that I was sleeping in. there was this ghost that was a big shadowy figure hovering over the bed, and when I woke up I was freaked the fuck out. I even stooped to looking up what shadowy figures in dreams are supposed to mean..
i tell stalk about my confusing dreams, it is interesting to hear his interpretations. i had this bizarre one where i was in my room with dean and my friend cory getting high and this old bearded ghost guy appeared. i was like "who the fuck are you" and he was like "i am the embodiment of human consciousness in the 9th dimension." i was like fuck that, i'm dreaming. woke up but was still dreaming, walked into the living room and cory was walking toward me with his hair in his face. i knew he was going to flip his hair back and i would see his face. i wondered if i knew his face well enough to see it in a dream. he flipped his hair back and sure nuff, there was his normal face. but then it started to distort, change colors, and i was like "dude, your face looks fucked up" and he goes "well, that's your fault isn't it!" and we both start laughing maniacally. weird the tricks you play on yourself.
i think it is just lucid dreaming. crazy shit. i usually do my best to resolve it and gain some insight. one time i was pushing a box full of all my possessions and lost control of it. it slid into a sewer and as it disappeared i realized i was dreaming. found myself on a himalayan mountain staring off into the cosmos.
why doesn't it matter that you can't tell if you are dreaming or awake? Because in a sense you are doing both. And regardless of whichever one you think you are currently doing, there is a likely chance that you are wrong. Besides, why would it matter anyways?
