they are just jealous. I mean if the jocks did that at my school, they would get their shit rocked. there are soo many hippies and stoners, its insane!! and all of us like if u mess with anyone, someone else will beat the shit out of you. You guys need to stand up for yourself. Im not tellin you to fight, cuz thats not the answer. But make it look like it doesnt bother you. Dont change who you are. Try to spread the love. But dont be fake about it man, dont say things you dont mean ya know? and if neone ever ripped my grateful dead shirts up, I garentee they wouldnt be too happy. Have a grateful day, and think positive man, dont go to school with your chin down.

It could provoke your mother into homeschooling you like it did mine! So it could be a good idea. But if I were you,just deal weed or shrooms. Nothing too hard that could kill someone because that could get you thrown in jail. I don't think you'd want that. Jail is a nasty place...*shudders*

 

Are public schools in the states really like that? Because our school had cliques, but we all sorta partied together every weekend. Actually we did make a lot of fun of some kids, but they were all kind of tools.

 

the school i'm going to now is the first school i've been in that isn't overran by cliques.. its pretty cool. it seems as though everybody's friends with everybody else.

Awww sorry to hear about your tshirt hun, I understand completely what you are going through.. I went to a small town highschool and put up with alot of flack for the way I dressed and what I believed. Half the kids their had never even heard of the greatful dead..poor, poor kids . Anyways, dont let them get you down hun, just stick up for your self as much as you can and keep in mind that karma will bitchslap the lot of them. cheers!

 

Schools have always sucked - there is something about them that brings out the worst in people. Try to concentrate on your friends and what you are accomplishing. I myself dropped out in the 10th grade ended up with a GED and went to collage on that. Worked for me - I found public school boring, offensive, and dangerous. College was a completely different world. Hang in there the nice thing about being young is that it cures itself.

 

my advice would be to just go on a killing spree.

 

Some people can be fucking assholes because it is their mentality. These fuckers end up with menial jobs or becoming cops. They get their high from humiliating or tormenting those who are mentally stronger than they will ever be.

I believe in non-violence when it comes to initiating anything, but if I am physically attacked I will do whatever it takes to defend myself (including dirt in the eyes, ball-kicking, eye-gouging, stabbing, cutting, breaking a nose with a headbutt, using rocks, large sticks, fire, or anything else I can get my hands on), because I mean business when it comes to my right to live free from bullshit.

I never got picked on too much (I was always a crazy loon and constantly in BJJ), but there comes a time when you have to defend yourself by any means necessary.

If I were younger and lived near you, I'd just come to school with you as a guest and if these pricks decided to try anything, they'd learn respect REAL quick.

 

people just dont like you cos they don't understand you or your beliefs...love conquers though man and in the end after school, you'll be the one who has the good life and a sense of inner peace while they're all struggling unhappily to get by...so keep strong and don't lose your beliefs cos of idiots like that...if people backed down becos of idiots like those people at your school, there would have been no Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, or Aung Sun Su Kai...i hope you can find a way to get them off your back, you seem like a throughly decent human being and the kind of person this world needs more of

 

I agree with you. If I have a baseball bat with me, then someone is getting a skull cracked.

But when I can avoid a fight then I do. But what sucks is this prep/bully lives pretty much on the same street as me, and his family can buy the town if they want too. They got all their money from suing schools and crap, plus their son gets disabilty money for his teeth or something.

His teeth FELL into his girlfriend's mouth when he was french kissing her! And he has a $1,000,000 dollar life insurance, so his parents let him do anything he wants, because if he dies they get $1,000,000 dollars!

Then the cops don't even bother him, so if he breaks any laws he gets off pretty much scott free. Also the cops here don't like my family because were new in town. Well we've only lived here for like 5 years or so.

I'll tell you a story, now I warn you this might be long.

Me and my family moved to town and have been liveing here for like a 1 or 2. So I got a friend, and his sister has a dog that my mom wanted. Well my friend's sister is about 21 and it's her boyfriend (He is like some crack head or dealer.).

Well my friend's sister (we'll call her B) says that my mom can have the dog anyways because her boyfriend (We'll call him O) will probaly end up selling it for crack, or kill it and stuff it with crack, or kill it and stuff it with crack then sell it.

Well about a week later B is wanting the dog back, but my mom says no. Well another week later a car parks down the road and B and O start walking torwards my house. Well my dad calls the police and grabs a shotgun and puts it underneath a blanket and runs outside with my mom.

Well my dad puts down the shotty because the cop shows up. Well B and O are on OUR property and are cussing at my mom and dad and threatning them. O said to MY MOM "I'll cut your head off!"! INFRONT OF THE COP, AND THE COP JUST STOOD THERE!!!! The cop was threatning to ARREST MY DAD for bringing a shotgun out!

Well more cops showed up and they did NOTHING! Well O and B finally left and we moved from that town that night. We moved back 2-3 years later. The whole thing this story was meant to prove is that small towns and their cops suck!

-O and B were on OUR property threatning, harrasing, and cussing at us!
-The cops did nothing!
-They were going to arrest my dad instead of O and B!
-And the cop that first showed up is FRIENDS WITH O!!!!!!!!!!

Thats my story about small towns! :'(

So don't worry about a few kids at school. Just go with the flow and avoid them if you can. spread peace and love and then mabey someday the world will have peace and love in it at last!

I totally believe it's really happening. When I was in school, my younger sister and I had to put up with a lot of shit. It happened on the bus, and at school. We got the police involved, but it didn't stop. Both my sister and I were choked by two boys on the bus, and nothing happened. We told school and bus authorities, and they just kept on passing blame back and forth to each other. I was punched on the bus, and got a bloody nose, but didn't fight back, just kept the other person at arms length away from me.

I got into a verbal fight with a girl at school, and as soon as the teacher was out of the room, she said she was going to spray my blood across the walls. This happened in full view of 30 other kids. Nothing was done about it. She was on probation, so she wouldn't fight me she said. So one day I come out of the library, and there are literally 15 girls waiting for me. I just walk away. I took the peaceful path. I didn't fight. It didn't stop. Then one day on the bus, after being provoked too much, one of the girls, (you know the type, mouthy with a bunch of thier friends) says, I'll be waiting for you to get off the bus. I had had enough. So I took my little sister with me, and said, "We're getting off here." I had my backpack on, and walked up to the girl, threw it off, and said something to the effect of "I'm going to kick your fucking ass you little bitch." I was waiting for her to make the first hit, because then you can claim self defense and can't get in trouble for defending yourself. She wouldn't hit me. She was all talk. The trouble pretty much stopped after this.

The point of this whole long rambling story is... call thier bluff. Most of the time they are just putting on a show to prove to their friends and everyone else how bad and cool they are. If you stand up for yourself, by fighting back, or at least acting like you will fight, 99% of the time they will back off. It's the one percent you have to watch out for. When they will fight you when you stand up for yourself. Then that's when your good ol' buddy Mr. Pepperspray comes into play..

I agree with you. As a pacifist you don't go around trying to start fights or create disharmony anywhere or with anyone. But as far as I am concerned, if the fight comes to you - defend yourself!

 

Wow if that really did happen that sucks.I don't really get picked on that much but i've seen and heard accounts of similar things happening in the conformist factories and all I can gather is the bully who starts all this shit is probably either jealous of the fact that you actually have something called ideals or is just a little too egotistical and insecure.

What I find interesting about these types is there usually trying for the badass rebel stature but they fail to realize that by taking away peoples freedom to be themselves and live without interogation there no different than the pigs are.

 

I was the very first person in my home town to wear bellbottoms. I caught all kinds of shit, but later on that year almost everyone was wearing them. They're all a bunch pencil dicked losers, who are only strong as long as they’re with each other. I did this once in high school, I went up to the biggest dude of them all and kicked him square in the nuts they didn’t bother me after that. I’ve grown up since then and I’m not condoning violence, but a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do or you could just ignore them and walk away. I vote for the second option. I'm not a Jesus freak either (no offence meant), but He said "turn the other cheek." I realy don’t think he meant letting people walk all over you. I think what He realy meant was stick in your own beliefs.
