I've gotten a few, too. Try not to be too hard on them. When I first came to these forums, my first thought was that it would be a great place to find a connection. Granted, I was never as ballsy as that message, but I asked around a little. I quickly realized how stupid that was. I could see someone a little more naive than I could get pretty out of hand trying to find stuff, online or otherwise. Just gently explain the error of their ways, or simply say "no, I've got nothing for you man, sorry" and that's that :)

Whats really annoying for me are the insistent ones. You take the time to type out a nice respective reply, and in return you get a response that's like: "Ah man, come on", "Why you gotta be like that" or worse. You got to be kidding me. I said 'no' the first time.

Its just so much easier to completely ignore the PM from the start.

Also, how is it that people with only like 1 post are able to send a PM anyways?

Many people just don't understand that doing a total stranger a HUGE favor (considering the illegality of drugs) is not something most people are into. And that goes for anything in life. You don't go up to a stranger and ask to borrow $1000, but sometimes it's ok to borrow money from someone you've known for a long time. If people would take the time to get to know LSD culture and actually cultivate relationships, maybe they would EVENTUALLY find what they seek. But most of the people who come here looking for L have no interest in that, they just want to score some L as soon as possible, and if they can't get it immediately, they're gone.

    Exactly.

As has been mentioned, a lot of us originally stumbled upon these forums with the similar intent, but we quickly figured out that's not how it works. Then we decided to stay because we realized we really liked the community and wanted to become a part of it.

Whenever I do respond to such a request, I usually advice the person to hang around the forums, become a part of the community and make some friends. Eventually they may find somebody that may do them the favor, but that is not what the forums are here for.

if we were all at a party in person and talked about how and what we have like we do here, there would be folks then asking for some as well. folks come here in part as a quest to make a connection either to provide or with a need.
apparently this is not forum policy.

since we are invisible we still talk about what we just picked up from the dealer and get annoyed that someone would dare ask to buy some. seems funny. I mean I know you can size someone up in person to see if they smell like bacon or what so that's probably the main reason. Rightly so. Uncle sams got nothing better to do then try to bust someone mailing a hit of acid or 2 or a few doobs.

It's too bad that there arent many 'meet ups' w/ members in this forum.. I'd love to have a few drinks w/ some of you folks and BS. It's hard to get to know folks typing on a forum. That being said, it IS annoying when folks PM you to sell them some L. I havent even been on this forum all that long and already had a few people explicitly ask.. Too much risk involved w/ people you dont know and it's hard enough to get in the first place.. LOL

Even though you are being sarcastic, unfortunatley this is how it works on America's continent.
Maybe in Hawaii all you have to worry about is Dog the bounty hunter, but over here, there is many a mullet-sporting officer willing to bust someone if they smell like pot in a grocery store.

They aren't, but this rule has only been in effect since I think the beginning of the Summer.

People just need to realize that, as with anything in life, you need to put effort into something in order to gain what you want. If your not going to at least spend the time to contribute to the forums for 6 months, maybe a year, get to know some people, and THEN ask for sources or a connect, you might as well just forget it.
I've been a mod on this forum for I guess a year, and been a member under different screen names for 5 years. I've never ONCE asked someone for a source, yet I've tripped with at least 3 members, some who are posting in this very thread, and on top notch quality L at that. I've been offered sources, and yet never purchased a single RC online, only in person from like minded folk.
The point is, if you seem just the TINIEST tad shady, you are not getting shit, and should not be taking psychedelics in the first place. You dont move up in life, in any field, without respect, and obviously the same goes for the mind benders.

i've gotten a few PMs that seemed like they were genuinely good folks that were just "looking too hard" and I had to turn them down and said "sorry i can't help"

HOWEVER... I don't turn people down indescriminately. I even threw a huge party in june and invited my forum friends. I used to be "in business" but now i got sorta square and have agood job and a home and such. You don't loose the kind of friends you make in this scene. It's a FAMILY!

If some random person asks for L online then they either are a cop or so square that they shouldn't have LSD. I won't give random people anything.

I am always generous with my friends thought, but that don't mean to send folks my way when they're dry. I may get back into the business end of it sometime but it's not happening anytime soon. I'm content to have fun time to time when the inclination strikes. I will probably throw a NYE party for my friends and family, by the way!

feel free to PM me if you're my friend

OFF TOPIC: Mr. Writer, what is the name of that guy in your sig? I want so badly to find out what the name of the concert was that Hendrix played at and he was followed by a sitar and band, I was like 18 or something when I heard that, it was a documentary of the concert and I totally didn't pay any attention at the time but it was like the best friggin thing ever. Like at least 10 minutes of just the best sound.
