apparentally from what i have read on the forums 6" is the average for a fully grown male.

 

The 'average' size of the pubescent / adolescent boy varies greatly as the growth spurt can kick in at totally different ages, from anything as early as 9 - 10 (as it was with me), or as late as 19 - 20 (or even later).

However, once it starts it only take 12 - 18 months to develop from child size to fully grown adult size. Anyone who's been through it already will probably remember how their penis seemed to get bigger by the day, until it finally stopped growing altogether about a year or so later.

Don't take any notice of those that are always claiming to be a supposed 'average' of 8" - this is nothing like average - in fact, it's quite rare, and usually claimed either by those who are either insecure about having what is actually a realistically average size of 5" - 6", after believing the false claims in places like this, or by people who are measuing the length incorrectly.

Actual length, incidentally, should measured from the pubic base to the very tip ALONG THE TOP of the penis. A more accurate method of measurement, however, is to have a tube of some sort (even a rolled up magazine will do) with some sort of measuring device, such as a ruler or a rolled up sheet of paper with measured markings on inside the tube. Insert the penis into the tube as far as it will go & measure how far the inner marker / ruler has been displaced. This will be a true acount of the actual length inasmuch as how far it will be able to penetrate a vagina.

However, as most women will confirm, it's not the length that really makes the difference, but girth. This is the circumference measured around the central point of the penis with a tape measure. Once again, girth can vary greatly from about 3" - 7". Personally, being bi, I prefer a smaller girth as it allows for easier anal penetration, although I have a very thick girth, which not only makes it difficult to get condoms to fit, but makes it very difficult to achieve anal penetration - although it is very beneficial when having straight, vaginal sex.

However, whatever your size, build, shape & texture, it's highly unlikely that you have anything to worry about. The chances are that you are perfectly normal in every respect. After all, variety is the spice of life.

 

Well i measured it the way you said to do. Its 5.5 hard and the girth is 4.5 so its average according to you. I never knew that the average was 5-6 inches i always thought it was bigger.

Im only 6", and Im 16- Im still a virgin, and was hoping for about 7". About half my mates have lost there virginity, and many are on there way too loosing it. I must say Im pretty worried I am not going to get round to it, or get to it and be totally embarresed.
