    Hi,

My penis has become insensitive and I even dont get erection en morning wood anymore. It has all begun after stopping taking prescribed Ritalin, 3 days ago, which shrinked my penis, but didn't lose my sensivity or so. I also have to mention that I aldo began wassing my glans under my foreskin, which I think has definitly has played a role why my penis has begun 'numb'. I also stopped masturbating to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't.

Did I maybe washed my glans so hard that it did lost his sensivity? The rare side is is that I litterally dont have erections because of this and I dont kn ow if its due the medicine or because of the lost sensivity or both?

I also went to the doctor yesterday morning but he said that there was nothing and erection woods normally not always occur.

But I have to mention that a couple of hours ago my penis had a little sort of erection after my meds wore off. But it didnt have had this sexual stimulation, that sensivity.

Should I wait for it to return, will it come back naturally? Should I continue washing my glans, I think that contributed to this.

    Greetz

methylphenidate has numerous side effects including anxiety. If you are prescribed the medicine, it is for a reason and you should not suddenly stop taking it without medical supervision, since your body will be all over the place, swinging from the conditions that it was treating and cessation or its side effects.
I have little doubt that your hormones are currently imbalanced, which will lead to swings in your sexual desires, but this should be the least of your worries at the moment.
I have no idea why i was prescribed to you, the reasons that you have stopped taking it and whether it has been replaced with an alternative.
A specialized consultant is the only person who can provide those answers and I would strongly advise you to arrange an appointment via your doctor, rather than seek help online.

Ritalin can reduce sex drive and cause erectile dysfunction but not in the majority of cases.

I take it for ADHD. And I stopped it just for a break, because I felt that I didn't need that for a moment.

The methylphenidate class of drugs such as Ritalin are often prescribed for ADHD, but you should not mess about with them.
One of the major problems is that they react quite violently with anticoagulants, both natural and chemical and you should NEVER take any analgesics containing Aspirin during or within 3 days of taking them. Coagulating blood causes TIA and stroke conditions as well as a threat to heart muscle degeneration if it causes the capillaries above the aortic valve in your heart to constrict, starving heart muscles of oxygen.
Much of this is outside the scope of most GPs and in my opinion they are often far to willing to treat conditions such as ADHD with drugs without looking at the long term future or exploring other avenues. .
If you break your leg, you need a splint and crutches, but you do not expect to keep using them for the rest of your life.
I support the idea of loosing your dependence on drugs, but it needs to be done properly, I would imagine that slowly reducing the dose would be the correct path to avoid upheaval, but I am not an expert in that area.
That is why, I advise you to speak to a specialist consultant who will look long into your future and help you deal with your conditions within your lifestyle.

Plenty of exercise, a good diet and a few lifestyle changes may well be the solution to all his problems.
I associate conditions such as ADHD with people who sit around worrying about them.
Going for a short run would be far more beneficial than taking pills for a large percentage of sufferers.

  9. Your dick is supposed to be insensitive. It's supposed to be an emotionless jackhammer of rage.

Real men feel nothing in their penis, and don't indulge in sissy things like pleasurable orgasms. Your dick is like any tool. You use it to get the job done, and you feel nothing inside.

I mean my glans became insensitive. Is that normal to you? Before I could easily think get an erection by just thinking on something sexual, now it takes time to get one.

Yesterday there was a hot chick and I couldn't even get aroused (maybe due caffeine, is also possible).

And is it nornal that your glans become insensitive after drying it with your towel, because mine it is and after that its more difficult to get an erection and is it difficult to get sexual aroused, maybe due anxiety?? Idk

Before I began to wash it, my glans was sensitive and I could get sexual aroused and get erections way easily. Now when I'm in bed, my erections are weaking than when I didnt washed my glans regulary + glans less sensitive (less aroused?).

    Is that normal to you?
