Penis envy

I have everything for it except the glove box with I will start tomorrow. I basically wanted to get a feel for the process before I start doing multiple cakes. Also I have never tried shrooms so if I get enough to trip a couple of time I will be happy with the first run.

I injected five glasses with Albino PE and they are starting to look good. I can see the white fungi in the glass with no other colors of contaminates. I figured scents I have extra of everything I will make five more with jars and the silicone injection ports with regular PE strain. Just in case the five I have now are contaminated.

albino penis envy are the fucking shit. most potent cubensis strain out of the 15+ i have tried so far hands down. all this stuff about pe being harder to grow is bullshit. like mentioned before they just take a little longer to pin and mature. I set my tubs up w/ an air pump w/ polyfil in the tube to filter the air so I don't have to open them until harvest. unless if I want a quick peak or see it needs a light misting. that will GREATLY reduce your likelyhood for contamination unless of course the spawn/substrate/cake was already contaminated before putting it into the tub. anyways good luck man once its all colonized its usually pretty smooth sailin from there.

 

This is why. Most of us dont use an air pump, and for most Cubes it doesnt make a difference. Fanning 3-4 times per day will NOT get you a canopy with PE variations, except for PE6.

 

ya i'd have to agree with that, though IMO the only way to get a canopy of PE is through isolation. I've never even seen one but that doesn't mean shit. I've had some pretty nice PE pinsets from MS but never a canopy. they don't open up enough to form a true canopy if you ask me(all excluding pe6).

if anyone does have a pe canopy pic please post it, that would be a sick picture.

 

I havent posted for a while but I have a question for the shroom growers on the site. I started these a while a go and have now had them in the fruiting chamber for a couple of days now.

Do they look like they are supposed to or are they far from producing anything? They are Albino PE so I'm not too sure if the shrooms start out completely white?

I have a lot of patience usually but they are taking a long time.

Advice would be appreciated

 

Looked at them a little closer and they have been contaminated so off to the trash they go. I will try again. Hopefully one of these days I will get to try them. haha
