Manufacturers make these kinds of elaborate PC mods as a way to advertise their products, showing them off at conventions and giving them away as prizes. This guy is a real artist, and the video is well made. Its what some of us call "hardware porn" and is no different for me than watching a television show about furniture making. Watching someone who loves their job do it extremely well is always a pleasure. My own computer, deliberately resembles something you might find in Frankenstein's laboratory, but I would never put this kind of effort into a mod. Its just that I worked in a physics lab, and that's the kind of equipment that has its own almost down-home salt-of-the-earth style. Mostly, because academics are cheap, but still have some sense of style. I've also built houses, and prefer colonial architecture like many framers, because it uses the trim to the greatest effect.
