I just read that her fans are mailing butter wrappers to The Food Network, QVC, etc.

I don't think she deserves the treatment shes getting, when little wayne stomped on the american flag, yet his record label did not fire him. I know of many black people who use the n word in a joke, I have a cousin who is black and does it. I know people who use it only for ignorant people ( and will often call white people it because thats the definition ignorant.) Personally I would rather just say ignorant person, but hey I am not in her head, and it was probably a joke. Theres jokes peppered with hints of racism in pretty much all media today, and we all laugh at it, personally I wouldn't laugh at her joke, but hey its a joke

 

Claims of racial discrimination made against Paula Deen have been dismissed. However, claims of sexual harassment against her brother, Bubba, are still standing.

The judge in the case said that the employee at best was just an accidental witness to racial discrimination in the workplace and that to allow her to seek legal recourse for that would be asking the courts act as Human Resource Departments.
