On Thursday, October 13, McCartney played before a crowd of 300 at tiny Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, CA. Only $50 a ticket too! He's a class act. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-et-ms-paul-mccartney-pappy-20161013-snap-story.html

Someone should have retired this Muppet years ago. Oh yeah. You can't say that. He's God. How can you not love the Beatles.
Who said you, personally had to love anyone? Dude does a for California, cheap, intimate show. That's cool.
Yes that is cool. He probably wants to play smaller gigs so he can feel closer to the audience. I just have a contrary nature sometimes where I don't want to have to like something just because you're told like "This is the best".
Why does this man get carted out for every large occasion in the UK, playing big gigs becasue there is a sense of entitlement to play him as he was one quarter of a band way back when... Remember - "THE BEATLES, JUST A BAND"
I was fortunate to see him play at the Super Bowl in Jacksonville. He is still such an awesome musician and performer. I love the Beatles but Paul won me over for good as my favorite.
Well, obviously, not everyone thinks like you.. Ever been to Mathew street? Is there an entire town or street dedicated to any other musicians? Paul is not my favourite, in fact, I can't stand the man! But he is likely paranoid since John was killed! Just the shear hype in the UK over the Beatles, is sometimes a bit over the top! And let's not forget! He is in his 70s now, not like he could run from the fans now! Lol
The stones on their last tour ... when they went through Toronto they showed up randomly at the horseshoe tavern. My friend happened to be walking by and went in... saw them for free and he said there were only about 10 people there... I guess people outside thought it was a cover band, he got Keith Richards towel with sweat on it. Lol. The horseshoe has a long history of bands getting their start there... being on the circuit for a ton of bands that made names for themselves... so bands sometimes stop in there to just play. If you can, look up the history.. it is pretty amazing who Has played there. Beatles might have stopped in. There is also a shop on church that is a shop with random stuff, old stuff.. in that shop all over the walls was this lady who owned it... she is dead now, but jimmy hendrix in her store, signed albums, John Lennon, ... pictures of her and all these people who stopped in who were huge in the 60s and 70s. Was also in the movie good will hunting when they are in that shop trying on giant glasses, you see they grey haired lady who owns the shop in the background. When I first saw this thread title I thought he might be dead.... glad he is still kicking. God how old is he now?i
