It's a bit early for either. Lavender can grow from seed. Patchoupi is more of a specialty plant. Haunt farmers markets and herb shows.
lavender is easy to grow from cuttings like any plant you clone, and so is patchouli once you grow it. there are seed and plant suppliers on the net for patchoulli and lavender is available any nursery you go to. or if ya walk by a plant take 10 or so cuttings and root them in a warm place in moist soil. hope this helps ya
