Passport question.

I'll be moving to the states with in a month and with all the new laws I assume I need a passport but I don't even know where to get one? and the cost?

 

I'd get one fast, as they usually take at least a month to get.

The last I heard was that starting in 2006 Canadians will need a passport to enter the US. It would still be a good idea to get one now.
