what the hell? lol allan is such a fucktard. dude, do you know how many hundreds of things that YOU do that harm you and you probably dont even know about it? do you do any drug? do you realise that taking b12 supplements means that depletion of b12 means jackshit?
    go masturbate over peacefuljeffrey's posts.

"2 years older than me you still sell nos and do it yourself, I say the more intelligent person is me."
    lol
it doesnt make you smarter to choose your health as an elderly person over having hundreds of hours of good time when it actually counts, when your younger ie. it makes you safer. for what gain?

the way you listed the horrors of no2 clearly shows you get your 'intelligence' from internet drug sites. heaps smart

we can settle it all by getting another internet source of info: ellis whereare you

its possible to turn into a huff tard bill..... and I find erowid to be a good source, and hundreds of hours of nos will definatly have negative affects. If NOS is good for you id like some proof, yes its your choice, also I can assure you I'm not like jeffrey

now THAT'S something I want to see proof of.

I want to see a document stating that after so many hours of doing nitrous you will turn into a "huff tard"

"Some kids have suffocated from "huffing" inhalants, including nitrous oxide from "whippets" for whipped cream makers.

Nitrous takes oxygen away from your lungs.

You could go into a coma.

Eventually your brain could be damaged. Or your liver. Or your lungs.

Then there's something called "Sudden Sniffing Death". No chance to call 911. It may never happen to you. Or it could happen the first time. Or the fifth.

Everybody loves yummy iSi whipped cream. It's perfectly safe.

But huffing nitrous capsules can kill you.

    Think about it. "

that's not true. You have to have your head covered by a garbage bag or something and be huffing that method to DIE your first time with nitrous cartridges.

If you're huffing a balloon and you pass out (phish out) you immediately start breathing again of your own accord. Just like in the event of someone putting the sleeper hold on you (which is what this thread was about in the first place) as soon as the person passes out, if you let go, their body automatically starts to breathe again.

in the case of huffing other things like paint and chemicals, they are a lot more dangerous and can cause death the first time.

And you still haven't shown me where they say you will turn into a "huff tard" ;)

Nitrous does NOT take oxygen away from your lungs. It freezes the lungs cutting off oxygen to the brain, producing the high. It unfreezes quickly enough and you return to a normal state. You can accomplish the same effect by holding your breath for a long time or breathing in and out as quickly as possible, but it is harder to do so by yourself. Which is why people like hippie crack. It is not physically addicting, but phsychologically, similar to pot.

If you let yourself be closed up in a room airtight and open a tank valve, preventing any fresh oxygen from entering the room, that's dangerous. If you fill a big plastic bag with Nitrous, stick your head in and get high, that's dangerous. the balloon method is safe because no matter how much and how quick you suck the nitrous down, you will pass out before causing any real damage. (I always lose my balloon if I fill it too much and get pissed)

Anyone can get hurt doing it standing up, or by the methods I named as harmful. You can produce brain, liver, or lung damage, like you stated if you don't allow there to be oxygen as soon as you're too high to huff anymore.

Anything can be dangerous. What I'm trying to say is that any substance can be enjoyed with knowledge of the effects and responsibility with the substance.

I remember when I was younger 14 or 15 when my friends were taking a toke off a spliff someone would give them a bear hug, and when they finally let go you got sooooo high that sometimes youd pass out or wobble around for a few minutes. Anyone know whats going on here with your body? is it dangerous?

Shaba, it's the same effect. But like I said, if you get oxygen into your lungs once you feel a little high, there's not any harm.

if you cut the oxygen off to your brain at all any way you produce the same high. You just have to know the limits and be safe.

exactly. you're out for a LONG time at the dentist. The myths about it killing brain cells and all that are bull.

DDS uses Nos mixed with Oxygen so you don't cause any harm.

once again prolly not an activity to be tried by 15 year olds in a basment somewhere. Headymoechick. im gald u use urs safely but most people dont take the time to do it safely..... it still is not one of the most safest ways to get high but if u enjoy it power to u. however if u are a first timer i suggest u do ur own research on the subjuct to get un bias pros and cons

I really hate to get involved with this but there is no way in hell that they would use this for light sedation in things like dental surgery if it might do that to you. That one makes about as much sense as the old myth that some people never come down from an LSD trip.

being in a safe dental office is diffrent then being a kid alone at home. when u go in for heavy sudation for sugery and such they tell u theres always a risk that bad things can happin usally with complication with breathing. being in the dental office is the same it dosnet mean theres no risk it just means ur in the hands of trainded people who can help u if things go wrong. way diff then being 16 and in ur basment with ur buddys
