Make America great Again, really? That party is doing everything it can to divide the country. And maybe even take us close to a civil war. They say they would never agree to nominate a Supreme Court Justice in a year of elections. But here we go. They have gone back on almost everything they have said over the years. It like there party is more important then the country in which they represent and of the constitution. I find it very hard to understand why there are those that just don't care about there country or there fellow man and women. Those hats that say Make America Great Again, you are taking the country down a road of no return if this President is reelected for another 4 year term. And putting smiles on the faces of those from other countries that would love to see our country go down the drain. Is your party loyalty more important then the fate of our country? I will say one thing this president has brought to light is just how incompetent our government really is. If you have money you just tell them to go to hell if asked for something. and you can do whatever you want. Things my never be the same again.
We have a bunch of the bastards over here too - they are experts at it, since they've been doing it, not just for a few years, but for a couple of centuries !!! - the scumbag 'nasty party' !!!
And yet over 60 million of your fellow Americans went to the polls and said of this seriously flawed human being: "I think this guy would make a fine President." The candidate who billed herself as "the Great Unifier" has done nothing for the past 4 years to unify the country. Writing a "nobody-ever-liked-Bernie" book is hardly the greatest step a private citizen can take to bring people together. Trump won because he faced an equally bad candidate in the other major party, resulting in fairly low turn-out; the two notable small-party candidates drawing more votes from her than from him; and his people understood the electoral college system better than hers did. She campaigned as if she wanted every single vote in states she was going to win anyway, and didn't bother to visit some key states where the vote was going to be close. Trump is the most openly hateful human being to run during my lifetime, particularly toward women, yet 45 percent of women voters still said: "I think this guy would make a fine President," choosing him over the self-described Great Unifier. Agreed, the flip-flop on the Supreme Court vacancy is entirely hypocritical, as video and audio clip after clip has demonstrated in the news the past week. It's undeniable political hackery. However, the flip-flop on the other side is rarely ever mentioned in mainstream news. Four years ago, Biden and Schumer said repeatedly on camera that the Senate needed to do its duty to work expeditiously to bring a nominee to a vote. Obama, a former professor of constitutional law, made the same point numerous times four years ago. If there really was a party of integrity, the most recent past President would be publicly saying that the Senate did the wrong thing 4 years ago, but its majority has stated an intention this time around to honor the Constitutional duty of that body. He'd give them credit for charting a better course this time. Biden and Schumer would be joining him in saying the same.. "Political system of hypocrites" would be more honest than "party of hypocrites" is. We have a shortage of statesmen and stateswomen, and a surplus of political hacks in expensive suits.
It's time to move on - the past is the past, we need to build a new future for ALL. And then there will be accountabilty.
Really, really bizarre. Both Hillary and Obama have an important quality that Trump, Mitch, Lindsey and most of the “R” s will never have. It’s called integrity. How convenient that the Democrats should now say...”oh great, now we can do the right thing”. Self serving...you think, hypocrites....you think, fascist....you think.
