Karen_J, I purposely worded it that way because that was how you seemed to be portraying it. I did a little search and you are not the only one. There are headlines like: Paris flashes for the cameras AGAIN. Etc Etc. I'm not quite sure how many pictures there are of her doing it (or them trying to grab a picture like that). But I can guarantee a lot of them have been recycled over and over and over again. Yeah, she is a media whore. But I think she draws the line at purposely flashing her vagina at any and every opportunity - in my opinion ; )
So, what's the problem? Does everything in life have to be about serious issues now? Is it not even okay for sex to be shallow? For young people? She's not going to over-play that trick, because she knows how many pics are out there. She knows how to play the media whore game. Another thing I like about Paris -- she doesn't mind offending people who say things like this:

Probably hide a volkswagon all up in there! Now that wasn't very nice of me to say. I don't care what any of them do-it's none 'o my beeswax. I just see all this useless cheap stuff as a reflection on the general state of our society. That stories about them even gets peoples attention is sad. I like to think I learn something every time I watch someone or something. Or be entertained. How would I be entertaind by watching Hilton or the Kardashians? I wouldn't.
I think that might be the other way around: A 'media darling' with her own international business empire? Kims assets are bigger in other areas than business, though.
By your definition, yes, and I'm goddamn proud of it. I aspire to be the opposite of what people like you think I should be. Nah, it's usually about looks only. An attitude helps. I honestly don't know. When her sex tape came out, the media acted as if I should already know her name, and I didn't. On her reality series, I thought Nicole Ritchie carried it. Nicole was funnier than hell. Paris was just kind of there. Some people just find them interesting. If you like music, drama, art, literature, whatever, it's all still out there. Fame for one kind of person doesn't mean less success from somebody else that does something unrelated. So don't sweat it. To me, the existence of this kind of a celebrity has nothing to do with any of my other interests, like jazz or classical music. Trombone Shorty isn't going to sell less tickets this year because Paris Hilton gets mentioned a few times on Entertainment Tonight or the E Channel. It's all good.
