When it comes down to it is she really that bad? She's just a fucking person. A person with a lot of money and had it easy in life... she devolped some "negative" and annoying qualities but seriously.... no one is perfect. I don't hate on her. I don't know her. It don't matter..she's just a person and I get sick of hearing about her all the time but I also talk about her.

with the way our society idolizes celebrities the anti-christ could be very much alive and well living in california...

i kinda feel bad for her. she thought she was out, and now she's back in. i'd probably have a break down, too. and i believe she got even more time now. and knowing how we love to cannibalize our celebrities, i can't say as i'm surprised that people are really getting off on this for reasons other than strictly justice.

Well, I'm not sure how much she had to drink during those dui's therefore I feel I cannot fully make me a statement regarding my opinion however if she was DRUNK she could be a threat if she did it again...drunk drivers do kill people and there is no excuse really... she has enough money and lives in a place where she could get a cab, a chaufeur or whatever easily..... if she was only like one over the limit..eh.. my "drunk drivers kill" statement is kinda partially invalidated but....

Regardless, she was lazy and stupid and drink drivers DO kill people.

What's a month for her in jail?

I don't hate on her but maybe she needs to learn a lesson before something worse happens.

 

As much as I love seeing comeupance, I'd hate to be let out of jail, then put back in too.

I don't care that much though. I'm kinda tired of hearing the story. When Paris shanks someone, then I'm totally there. Till then, it's getting old.

I've actually never seen it either, but knowing her, and what she looks like, I can already say it sucked.

 

She's driven into our collective conscience by the mass media which is working very hard to directing how we think and spend money- it's tough to avoid the topic when everyone gets more worked up about that then they do about our government's shenanigans.

She may have been born into money and privilege and her chosen life path may well have included dealing with public scrutiny but she should be afforded the same fair justice that the rest of us should get. The problem is NONE of us would get an even deal. The legal world is so littered with overzealous prosecutors and attorneys adept at creative "lawyering" that the whole concept of fairness and justice is blurred, to put it charitably. It's money that greases the gears of our legal machinery- this enables some of the most blatant offenders get off with a slap on the wrist and gets some innocent kid doing hard time because he had a couple joints on him during a routine traffic stop.

Then there's the presumption of GUILT cultivated by the media... anyone care to debate this with the members of the Duke lacrosse team? Perhaps one would be interested to read some of the hate mail they received. An adventure into google land on the keyword vehicle of "duke, lacrosse, hate, and mail" ought to open a few eyes on how the ignorant and impressionable masses can be whipped into an indignant frenzy based on half truths and media spin.
