Painting commemorating Obamas first 100 days. WOW!!

Someone posts anything to do with Obama and a large following of people on this site jump on it with their own theories of just how it is that Obama is going to screw them over it...

He didn't pose for this picture, he didn't hire the painter to paint it. Chances are, he has as little to do with it as any of you saying he MUST think he is jesus to be painted like that.

Still not clear? Stop being fucking sheep and think for yourselves and judge people on their own actions, not other peoples actions regarding them.

I said the same thing you did about not finding it to be evil or a matter of Obama silently endorsing his "lordship", so you're not original..... Saying, the painting does not make him evil or represent his views, is not the same as telling the people who jump on the bandwagon around here whenever it shows up to stop being sheep and judge the man on his actions.

Of course, this is likely me just using my magical powers to change the meaning of words again....

 

So in reality what you are saying is that instead of voicing an opinion about the painting or the article referring to said painting as I did, you were actually derailing the thread by flaming others for their opinion on the topic?

The topic is the painting of Obama, so I guess if my comments about the people playing follow the leader are off-topic and reportable, so is everyone that makes some inference to what the painting says about how Obama feels...

You think so? I mean, I'm by no means an artist, but I thought it was fairly sharp. If he had a white glove on instead of thorn crown, I would've thought it could based on Michael Jackson.

 

It looks rather amateurish for something that will be publicly displayed.

But yet again, the public has no taste.

I kinda thought so too until I saw the link was yahoo.com. They're fairly credible in my opinion though. . . so I kinda figured it's real. But still, I guess it doesn't quite have the realism I would expect of such a monumental project....

 

i think it would be someone who would benefit from it politically and financially. but of course racist fanatics will be the convient ones to point fingers at.
