alright, i get what you mean now. everybody knew each other in my high school too, and everytime you would do something "major" EVERYONE would know about it, and i hated that. but i am satisfied with how i turned out too! so whatever
I think the drama that enveloped everyone's life is a really common feature of high school, but I think that the region we are from is pretty unique. It seems like there is some strange phenomenon where the people get dumber as the altitude increases. I shouldn't make fun of people from the mountains, though, because most of my family is included among them, and it is inconsiderate to make fun of the poor. Nevertheless, it is such a strange area; people are so baffled when I tell them about thieves killing pygmy goats and trading their meat for cocaine or about how the main industries in my hometown are a landfill and a rat farm.
hahaha i know what you mean.. i tell people about my hometown and about the mountain kids and they're like.. wow cool hometown! and i know exactly where that rat farm is! lol i know people that live right beside it
When I was young, my friends and I would always steal corn from the rat farm's (or what I assume to be the rat farm's) fields to corn houses with. The farmer would always get really pissed off and chase away any kids he saw. One day though, he started shooting at us with his shotgun, and this was really scary, so we ran away. Anyhow, he shot my friend in the back, so he started screaming because he thought that he had been shot, but it turned out that he was firing rock salt at us.
