Bethlehem is absolutely great IMO, I grew up in Allentown and lived in Bethlehem a coupla years ago, worked at Granny McCarthy's on Main St., walked across the bridge every day over the river and the railroad and the old steel plant. Got to be there over Christmas which is neat-- I have fond memories of "searching for the star" with my parents-- that hill seemed so mysterious and now it just looks like a hill. I love all the Moravian stars, too. Probably the only "event" I'll go to is walking the main street, buying my son a toy or something. I was supposed to have my 10th year high school reunion that weekend but they cancelled it from lack of interest. *sigh* I know what you mean amber having kids does cut out on the nightlife I'm hoping my folks will babysit one night too. Some reckless abandon in the Valley sounds good to me too. If you two meet up, maybe I'll come watch, or is that not considered an event?? Hmm, you met on the event forum it should be...
I live in Hershey Pa now but originally from Philly. Lived in Harrisburg for 8 years before moving to Hershey. Born and raised in Philly until about 18 years old. So, what kind of events are you looking for?
Hey all. I live in Quakertown about 20 minutes from bethlehem & allentown. I'm about 45 minutes from philly. I'm originally from philly.
That does sound cool, but where oh where could our little roundup be? (oh where oh where could it be?)
haha! we should really do it! there are so many of us... i mean...we should for real! whether it's in a field in the middle of no where or 5 rooms of a hotel in a central location...we should really do it... and im willing to help move it along if other people are down.
I'm posting an event for those who may be interested.... Monthly Harrisburg Pagan Meet-up Come join us at our monthly Harrisburg Pagan Meet-Up, Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at 7:00 PM. We will be meeting at Divine Light Book Store 110 N. Front Street, Steelton Pa. Come meet with like minded people and discuss earth based spiritual topics. We will gather once a month and share fellowship on a wide variety of eclectic topics. Our objective is letting all know that we are not alone in our beliefs and there is a place where we can meet and share our ideas and beliefs in a safe and comfortable environment. Call or E-mail for more information or directions, (717) 939-7071 or divinelightbooks@yahoo.com
We should see how many people are interested in meetin' up and then plan the location and date....we should try to find somewhere as close to the middle of all of us as we can too...
I havnt found anything fun to do around harrisburg at all. The only interesting thing that ever happens is the kipona and arts fair on front street. Weed and that fair mix like peanut butter and jelly, there is tons of food and cool art to look at. We should have a get togethor at the philly folk fest or somthing.
Oh god this kid is so on the ball! (I want to be just like him, note sig) YOu all need to come to the folk fest for certain. But there has to be some winter time amusement.
Haha, thanks. Kick ass sig man, haha, I like the changes youve made to it! I tried searching online to see if there are any sort of events around here this winter and of course there doesnt seem to be anything decent. There are no good concerts that I saw on ticketmaster in the area, well atleast I dont think there were any good concerts. The only thing that comes to mind is have a south eastern pennsylvania hip forums camping type of deal. Find a state park and camp out in the coldness of the winter, would be completely freezing but probably a good expierence. Anyone else have any ideas? Hahaha those are the mosthilarious conversations ive ever read, duck and miss.
