I wanted some cream cheese, it was 4.59$ it was in a small store in a small town I once was in a airport and bought a 20 oz Aquafina for 4$ paid 4.99 a gallon for gas before what high prices have you paid?
supply and demand. I paid $500 to see Korn for my ex's bday. We had had good time though so it was worth it
Hmmm something like 4.50 for a gallon of milk. Didn't used to be nearly that high. I think small towns like to jack up prices because they know people in a rush will pay just about anything, instead of having to travel 20 minutes or more to get cheaper.
pack of cigarettes at Kennedy airport- - 15.00 1 bottle of BUD at Prudential Center (Devil game)- -10.00
I was at a scotch bar and paid an amount I am too embarrassed to admit to for a dram of special aged single malt. It was good but not that good but it was an experience to do it. I would probably not do it again.
Sometimes I try & buy some things for as cheap as I can instead of paying full price & getting them much cheaper than normal. Sometimes I try to find items that are ideal for other uses that can be much cheaper than the real thing.
$20 for a cocktail in nyc. $5 for a pack of aluminum foil. I bought that at a gas station and walked outside and noticed a sticker on it for $2.49. The owner of this gas station just makes up completely arbitrary prices for everything.
Electricity...and gas. The utility company seriously fucks you over because there is nothing you can do about it...they are con artists.
Call girls. Just kidding. I paid over $3.50 for a gallon of milk. It was around a $1.00 when I was growing up. I drink 3 gallons of skim milk a week - at over $3.50 a gallon after tax that's around $600 a year.
