quote: Hi Seamonster - I thought I was the only person who listened to The Fall - awesome band aren't they? I have never come across anyone who listens to them before

Hello......I like the Fall a lot, and I've noticed more and more younger people getting into them. there are several bands here that have a noticeable Fall sound.

I've also noticed new stuff coming out that sounds like them - I live in South Africa and when I mention them to people they look at me like I'm a bit nuts - nobody here seems to listen to them.

Check out the band Ozric Tentacles sometime if you get the chance. They are from England. Most of their music is instrumental with the exception of the occasional weird word or vocal sound added in a few places. Their style is almost indescribable. The best I could do to describe them is psychodelicacidjazzrock. Good hippie music. Any reputable music store should carry their cd's and look in the indy music stores as well, since they seem to carry some unusual stuff. Enjoy.

    Peace.

    Anyone hear of Alison Goldfrapp?

Don't know a whole lot about the artist musicaly but, so far, an amazing and bizarre Flash enhanced website.

    Update of this post:
Found some streaming audio and video though it requires some digging around.

I'd call this Madonna on acid.

    Peace. :)
