    Would have been nice to have engaged The Rebels in discourse prior to the Declaration of Independence. Conceding a few points might have saved The Colonies for Great Britian. Imagine the different courses history might have taken.
    Perhaps a few seats in The Commons, a peeerage for Franklin?
    Just imagine!

    My girlfriend doesn't agree with American policy or indeed the UK policy. She says one morning, Britain and the rest of the world would be far safer if we just ignored the Americans-especially Dubya.

    haha yeah right. Just cos England or America couldnt keep their guns in their pokets... Well you could argue its better than their privates they're flashing to the world :D

    With the channel tunnel up Britain's arse, it surprises me that continental europe have not removed, the tunnel. Infact Britain is so independent but attached to America. I am not surprised that america is also withdrawing troops.

    The right thing to do would of been to remove all the troops and leave Bush and his army to fight on with the eternal war. All the soldiers, our soldiers have died invain. They were decieved by our government and now the government is trying to justify its deception.
