    Just write anything in word and copy it...it'll keep the font :)

    they all work for me....


    i just d/led Antioch and installed it...typed some stuff up on word and pasted it here and it works

    I've heard about a good greek font called Sparta which lets you do all the breathings, accents, iota subscripts and everything. Don't know if it's free though - it probably isn't.

    I heard you can download the simpsons font for free if you know where to look.:)

    someone sent me the Friends on once, don't have it on this machine though. Of course to read any font that anyone uses you have to have it on your own machine.

    Well I don't know ... the majority of the population in the uk are crap english ... harsh to start judging others who learn it as a second language.

    not true. Many of us in the UK aren't crap english. we're also Irish, Scottish and crap welsh. ;)

    Myself I'm half Irish and half crap english.

    No latin option at my school. I'd have loved to learn it but never got the chance malheureusement.
    What about the interesting debate of punctuation, as in

    'Woman. Without her, Man is nothing.'
    or
    'Woman, without her Man, is nothing.'

    In this way couldn't all our glorious biblical/shakespearian/ancient translations convey precisely the opposite of what they are trying to communicate?
    It's a world of contradictions.

    if you said it in latin, it wouldn't be a problem! :)

    And all you've done there is underlined the point that you've got to do things properly if you want to be understood.

    i know in the states they have summer programs where you can learn greek/latin...i'm sure they must have them in england, especially since Classics is a lot bigger in england than it is in the US.

    Ancient languages are great to have :)

    Yep, plenty of courses run by the Joint Association of Classics Teachers :)
