In a couple of discussions, I've been subtlely or blatantly called out for being fanatical, obsessed, I need other interests... fair enough, I suppose. I do have quite a bit so say in the barefoot forum, and I'll say it again: if despite my longer posts, and in some cases they might repeat content because I address each topic as its own thread, it even inspires one more person to go barefoot, or one existing barefooter to acclimate as more and more surfaces are paved with rougher and hotter sidewalk, extra hot slurry sealed asphalt that gets hotter earlier and stays hotter later... I've contributed to the forum in a way I think is appropriate.

Anyway, I'm also into music (such as drums and making simple 80's throwback or EDM music). I do audio/video (I've set up my own home theater). I occasionally do competitive walk events (only with someone else I know... and yes with walking shoes for now, even though one year there was a barefooter in front of me carrying flip flops, since I know I would otherwise need a lot more faster and longer distance walking on rougher and sharper to do a 5k or 10k with a competitive time, but then I also know barefoot was not prohibited if race officials didn't flag them for a disqualification, but then they were also trained enough even if they did carry flip flops so it is realistically trainable for any dedicated barefooter to train for that distance and time without having to slow down, stop, or put on the flip flops). I also like retro video games all the way up to PS2, including the real arcade machines when I can find them and not just ports or emulations on the game consoles or the PC (since I don't play Mac games and don't really play mobile phone or tablet games).

There are forums for those, and when I find a topic of interest I can join the discussion or start a new topic thread, so I am not *just* into barefoot. I have expanded it as part of my lifestyle, sometimes inland valley can get to the mid 100 degrees F range during afternoon peak heat (and sleeping in especially on weekends has me running errands at that time when I do run errands), walk-each-surface-as-it-is-encountered barefooting doesn't exclude time of day unless it's unreasonably long distances without some intermittent cooling of the soles during that hot of afternoon peak heat weather... again I'm also not the only one who does heat-footing, not the only one who discusses heat-footing on the Bare It/Barefoot forum.

out of curiosity, what's different about post-ps2 games that made you stop liking them?

They didn't match the genres of the games I play, and I also play very little first-person shooter and sports games.
