I almost got kava, but my fucking parents busted me!

 

m' pretty sure he meant the last time he saw kava in a store was a while ago.
and while there's no legislation, there's the fact that it causes mad liver damage, so most stores aren't selling it anymore (it's bad business to poison your customers).

I'd add poppy seeds to the list.
dosage is about a pound (ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS test a new batch out at a low dose ((1/3-1/2 pound))) effects last around 8-10 hours.
may cause addiction.

also, San Pedro cacti can be found sometimes and procured legally from 'normal' stores.
