    Already the main bias, is that the study didn't represent the general population, so any findings are pretty useless when looking at Britain as a whole. The best you can say, is that the select population may prefer one way over the other.

    I'm in the South. The majority of those participants in the south also pronounced in scone. It may be the minority from that study, but I am still correct in my pronunciation, based on my location.

    Also, as scones originated in Scotland, and the study showed that 99% of Scots said it like Stone - I am happy to conclude that this is the way it should be pronounced :D

    I like studies :D

    See, I fooled you into thinking I am British too... it's working ;)
