Oregon/Idaho border

How would one get to Treasure Valley from Portland? How far is it? I've never heard of that area...

 

Follow I-84 across the state untill you reach Ontario, Oregon. This is a small town on the Idaho border. It is the edge of the treasure valley area. Coming from Portland, it will be about an 8 hour drive.
The treasure valley area extends into Idaho with Boise being roughly the center of it.

 

DUH!...why didn't I look on Mapquest? lol...I'm gonna look now.
