my friend was wondering what herbs can get damaged alkoloids and stuff from buying them in winter. he knows alot of them are damaged in the presence of a certain amount of heat. but he dont know about cold temps

he wants to know if these herbs wont be dameged, or less potent... kratom, kava kava, morning glories, amanitas..

I don't think the alkaloids in any of those would be damaged by cold, just the plant tissue (cellulose and such). They should be fine.

Don't think so, assuming they are packaged and stored properly. At worst, it might just dry out the material.
