There is definitely a responsible way to use opiates. I firmly believe that.

I am living proof of it. I have taken the exact same dose of Suboxone sublingually every day for the last 16 months without any 'relapses' into addictive behavior. It doesn't 'stupify' me, it doesn't make me neglect my duties, etc. It has a very subtle and positive effect on my mood and outlook on life and I really don't desire to go pop 160 mg of Oxycodone or rail a 40 mg Opana ER.

I really need to find someone in NorCal with some roxi. When u first move to a place it's not like you can just go around asking people like you're asking for directions..

ET- your using a substance that is used to help addicts 'stay away' from opiates// so i dont understand.

besides, im pretty sure u are prescribed that medication, which is fine.. but I do not believe those who are not prescribed opiates can use them responsibly

Yes. I agree. But even amongst Suboxone users, the relapse rate is near 95% after just one year, which is what I am saying. I am just saying I am lucky and I am happy that my desire to do other opioids is curbed completely. That's all.

I have my monthly Suboxone Doctor visit tomorrow. I did really good this month. I stretched my 30 day supply out to about 40 days. I am pleased with that for sure.

    89% pure turkish heroin today.
I'll dose 25 mg nasally on my mg scale.
I'll probably puke my guts up but that comes with the package.

I guess everyone doesn't do it because a lot of people have never heard of it. I actually first heard about grapefruit juice interactions with certain meds about 6 months ago from a nurse, but it didn't have to do with opiates. I noticed a warning label on a bottle of my cholesterol meds saying to avoid grapefruit juice. During a routine doctors appt. I asked the nurse what that was about. She told me that drinking grapefruit juice can raise your blood levels of various medications. Then a short time later I saw something on another forum about grapefruit juice potentiation of opiates. And I've also seen it mentioned on these forums. So I tried it, and damned if it didn't work. As for adverse effects, I guess if it results in higher blood levels of whatever drug you take with it you could conceivably end up with a much stronger effect than you expect. I've never heard of an actual od resulting from this though.

GFJ didn't do shit for me, but I already had a massive tolerance when I tried it.

Make sure to get ACTUAL grapefruit juice also, not the Cran-Grape-Whatever shit.

For the last month or so due to severe nerve problems in my left foot, my doc has me taking oxycodone every 6 hours (15mg). they have not seemed to cure the foot pain yet, but I am worried about WD after. I truely am in alot of pain and take them for that reason. And they do work wonders. Just wondering, I tend to worry too much maybe ? Thanks and btw all of you guys have been so friendly, and I love this site.

If you're worried about becoming addicted to the Oxy, I guess you could test it once in awhile and see if wd symptoms develop. Just go without it for 24 hrs once in awhile and see what happens. If you're hooked, you'll feel your body crave it. Believe me, you'll know. It may seem kind of like the flu at first, and if you then take a dose and it goes away, you'll know.
