I am not speaking ill of him. Yes I have a lot of experience there. Spent a fair bit of time there. Lol

do you have experiences with people from the Netherlands outside of message boards?
Some Europeans can have an attitude, especially when they travel to North America.
Sadly, often they do, pointing out how great their country is and comparing it. I simply say, well wigwams and teepees were made and moveable. Not built to destroy the earth, but to preserve it. We are not the new world. You are. Lol. Only when I get the attitude.

this is what made me love the Netherlands... the people. A couch I was crashing on, the bathroom door was broken, a hinge was... I went to the hardware store and this guy who worked there was helping me, He didn’t speak any English, and me no Dutch. We worked out what I needed with hand gestures and me pointing at things on the door. He taught me how to say screw driver and other words in Dutch and I taught him english words for things. Hinge, filler, wood splint,..screws. Etc.. He offered to leave and come help me fix it too. And a beautiful friendship was formed. . For a bit, lol
