Thanks to all who contributed. Most of these songs will go on my ipod. Yes I'm a few years behind time. Now just need to figure out how to transfer music from 8-track to ipod.

Just kidding, but I did go through old 8-tracks that I never threw away, for ideas to add to my pod. found a few more oldies. Not 1 hit wonders but good old songs.

    Tony Carey: Fine Fine Day
Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood: Summer Wine and Some Velvet Morning

How about “hitchin a ride” by vanity fair? Great song to dance to and even greater with an inspired go-go dancer of the time!

Shattered Dreams - Johnny Hates Jazz. Was surprised that they were only a one-hit wonder. (Also didn't know there were two completely different videos for the song until a few years ago. The color one with a plot wasn't released in the U.S.)
