I used to fish alot. I miss the quiet...

 

I like the whole fishing experience...but don't like fishing itself... I don't have the heart to kill the fishies.

At least I know how to fish, so if I ever get stranded somewhere and need to feed meself... I'll be alright.

 

we eat what we catch, so i dont feel guilty..,, well maybe a lil for the lil ones we throw back.

 

The small ones thrown back become the big ones you catch and eat in a couple years.

 

Well yeah... I truly have nothing against fishing..... very few people fish just for the sake of catching the fish, killing it, and not eating it.

I just can't kill any animal... no sir... no me.

 

Mmmmm fish... I'm hungry now... *drool*

Hippiehillbilly, what if I tell you that I fished in a river somewhere in the jungle in Malaysia?
We caught strange fish that neither of us knew the name off nor ever saw before in real life or photography, but they tasted excellent (with a lot of salt).

dilli caught 4 rock bass,thats our unexpected catch of the day. there not suppossed to be in that river,, i guess someone put them there.

 

Well... I have decided to go and eat sushi today to celebrate all of this fishin'.

 

I can't fish, a lifeguard at Lake Texoma cursed my fishing abilities when I was 12. Not to mention, I don't like the idea of keeping/killing the fish, or making them pierce their lip and then removing the hook and sending them on with a bloody mouth. And we hate fish, too...so it would sort of be a cruel, pointless endeavor.

 

I love fishing! Haven't been for years though. I would love to wake up early one of these mornings and go do that. Mmm bass.
