Hi. I'm Dr. C(harbonneau) aka DrOfPhysics, here. I did not complete an academic doctoral course, instead did about 40 years of the autodidactic thing after having earned my BScME at age 20, whined to a judge about some misgivings from NASA over a theory I presented to them along with a proposal to their Breakthrough Propulsions Program for FTL propulsion. Notwithstanding the failure of the FTL proposal itself, NASA found overwhelming evidence that my theory about stellar mechanics was correct. They credited someone else with the discovery that even today they've run so far amuck it's disgraceful. The judge allowed me to use the title almost 7 years ago now, so I'm known by that, locally and, with some mocking exceptions from a few who seem jealous over that, mostly on the net, too.. Just wanted to get that out of the way. I do work, independently as always, in physics and still make use of engineering skills I learned through a USAFES/Univ. of Maryland to earn my BScME in 1974. An inventor and yes, I could be a tech consultant to those who want technical accuracy in their designs of space craft et al. Beyond that, I use Blender, DAZ Studio 4.6, Twisted Brush OpenGL and Gimp. I've written two books of a three part Sci-fi Black Satire Romance and am working on a Mystery/Horror novel I plan to launch in a couple months through CreateSpace. Looks like this forum has a spectrum to keep a creative mind chitting and chatting. Here are some examples of my artwork from days gone by with an actual handheld airbrush and even a MIG wekding torch... Hats off to Washington and Colorado and all the green card states... Hello. That sounds very interesting, although I am not quite sure what you said.The nitty gritty physics/math talk is way over my head, but I get concepts very easily..... You sound intelligent and good to meet you!
I did get the concept that someone else was credited with something you did, and that STINKS! That has happened a few times to ancestors of mine.....I don't know why the wrong people get credited ever. It pisses me off!
So you can see how that judge made my day all that time. Unfortunately I also lost my home in that injunction hearing. I have another one now and am owner of record. But, yeah. It wasn't exactly heartwarming on this end either. I'll tell that story someday. Still... I pretty much live up to the expected model of weird science guys within the skills of an artist and a passion for Fender Strats. But yeah it tends to do a slow burn. I remain happy and a mind laboring in freedom.
