It's always seemed odd to me that Halloween and Christmas are so close together yet they have totally different vibes. A few weeks ago it was all about blood and being scary. Now we got that out of our system and peace and presents.

 

Almost 2 full months apart. Not exactly close.

 

and in 4 months time, we get chocolate. the we back to killing in 6 months.

i started watching the old firefly shows last week....made it past the entire pilot episode and decided i didnt like it as much as i thought


probably because nothing will ever be as good as braking bad and game of thrones

 

I never did watch Sliders, but I heard it was a lot like Quantum Leap...

and I liked Quantum Leap...

but the ending SUCKED SO BAD!!!!

In order to watch it now, I have to make myself not think about the shitty ending they gave that good show.

I never watched Firefly, which is a show Sheldon (Big Bang Theory) mentions from time to time. lol

Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones come on channels I can't get...so I get to enjoy the old shows I get on free, plain people tv.

 

I have no idea whats going on.

There is this neat site my son showed me that tells ALL of the shows on "antennae tv"...which means the tv channels you get when you use an antennae and plug the TV in the wall...my word for it is plain people tv.


The site is called "Titan TV"... it shows, broken down by time, every single show on every single channel I can get.


I have no interest in buying any kind of access for more tv channels...which is good since The Mother would never approve/agree with putting out money for tv when we get plenty of channels as it is.

Sliders was my favorite show for a few years but after jerry left I only saw it in reruns and they were never in order so I know most events but can't tell what we're important to the series rather then the shit that was only important to that episode.

ok so in real life i painted a couple rooms in my house recently.
had a dream last night that i got an accidental hole in my wall and asked a guy to help me with it. i point to the hole and say "can you help with that?" and he replies sure.
next thing to happen is three guys come walking into the house from their work truck. i am suddenly living back in the house i grew up in as a child and there is a can of paint on the kitchen floor. i pick it up and paint accidentally spills. i put the can in a box and go look for something to clean up the mess. i go to the hallway and there is one of the guys painting the room i painted a few weeks ago. and then i see the other two guys are painting rooms i also painted a few weeks ago. and they arent just painting. this shit is dripping from the ceiling and its puddles on the floor. there is not one inch without several layers of paint. the shit looks like that episode of the simpsons with the jello. its just everywhere and still dripping on my head. i show the boss the only thing i wanted done (the hole) he apologizes and leaves. not sure whos paint he used but he didnt charge me for it....and woke up before i had to clean any of that shit up.

I don't have anyone on hide or ignore anymore and I wish to make amends with anyone this applies to.
