Like political commentator and comedian Bill Maher points out, Israel is really the only secular democracy in the area (yes, secular too). And Palestine has a horrible record on human rights too. Call Israel whatever you want. Call it Fairyland for all I care. But it protects human rights, it gives Arabs a place to get political asylum (from places like Palestine), and they fight terrorism. And who was in a land first? Who knows. Scandinavia is 1,400 years old, but the Lapplanders were there before them. Native Americans claim they were here first. Actually, depending on how you define "human", I think homo erectus was technically here first.
The Moon belongs to all of us, Mars belongs to all of us, Antarctica belongs to all of us. So why don't we just say the earth belongs to all of us?

How can you not recognize the Palestinians are pathetic butchers. I saw them on TV on 9-11 dancing in the street yodeling and chanting Death to America. Then they slither into the USA to get a meal ticket and free apartments on the public dole. Now they have lived in Gaza for years, again feeding at the public trough financed by the UN. Then they butcher 1200 women and children and continue to dance in the street and yell death to Israel. Hamas has an easy time butchering and raping women and children, but hide like cowardly sissies when confronted by soldiers. Now they are blaming Israel for all of their problems. I support the US posture not to finance the rebuilding of Gaza. They must reap what they sow.
We need to distinguish our friends and our enemies. The Palestinians hate the U. S. They should be sent to Iran or Afghanistan in order to achieve peace. You do not want to get into a debate on education. You would be surprised.
