    Now heres something to ponder,,,

    http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/rvs/2707830640.html

Could turn it into the biggest elotes cart in south america, or maybe just spend days gathering fruit in the jungle and making smoothies for the locals.
Be sure to install a good ice machine and a BIG water filtrations system with plenty of replacement cartridges or reverse osmosis / ozone on top of that. Heck get them hooked on sno-cones while you're at it.

ok, folks, this is the link to THC's group thread on FB..

    http://www.************/groups/2426410538/10150576087475539/#!/groups/2426410538/

As it stands there will be a group pickup to at least one build location within a month.

Suffice it to say, I am a friend of Drew Woodyatt's (Blinkin), and have been in the background for a bit regarding a built bus and potential excursions. We are looking for solid commits for build & crew, and i am willing to commit to pickups and deliveries. This will have to be based on efficient and dedicated individuals, and needs to proceed as quickly as possible.

My final build touch-ups may be in Feb or March, although I may be able to push for a much earlier date.

my camry can pickup 3 people at a time, and can do a 5000 mile run for about 200 gallons of gas (about $700).

I will absolutely need help covering fuel & auto expenses.

I also have a veggie oil powered van that gets 14 MPG, but will need help to do oil salvaging, before heading out in her. She can carry 6.

when i get back to virginny, i need to make a couple decisions..
My bus is just a shorty, intended to carry 4 max for prolonged periods (using floor bunks) if traveling with her only.. using the van may allow moving all SVO scavenging equipment and tools off board, freeing up space at least another 2 people, but i see her as carrying no more than 5. Bus and van together can crew ~6, total...
More approaches critical mass.. do not want to overload... if i may, drew, i'll post what i think may be a reasonable course of action on THC's group thread.

I'd rather have my sisters tracking down veggie oil than cash for fuel, and if we can get 20 gallons of usable oil for 10 minutes of smiling, i think we'd be in good shape. Just renewed the registration & insurance, so good to go for at least another 6 months (insurance = $350/year, just paid 1/2).

I'm expecting other captains to come through with solid buses, and as mentioned, i'm willing to help them out by possibly shuttling crew from state to state, if i can get help with fuel costs..

Right now the emphasis is on BUILD, with crewing to come a bit later.

Those whom are interested may PM or mail to gullluv@aol.com

    peace!!

    Wonder..
