pork tenderloin browned and split,then filled with cooked spinach ,apricots,goat cheese,prosciut,dijon....all wrapped up in puff pastry d baked

 

all but the cheese,, i dont do cheese..

I think that little calico kitten is either no longer here (on earth) or the neighbors are feeding it. Which is fine...maybe they can trap her silly ass and get her spayed. Dreams die hard. I hope she is ok..even if I don't care about her. :bigcry:

I washed clothes, went shopping and even went to Best Buy because my laptop charger had quit working, so I had to get one of those universal laptop chargers (made sure universal did include Asus computers and it did).

I napped and probably won't be able to even get close to sleep tonight. gahhh

Tomorrow I have to do a bunch of cooking.

I've never made anything even close to a pork wellington, which I'm assuming is similar to beef wellington. I have heard of beef wellington, but never had it. Dang that sounds good and complicated, like Aeri said. The people I cook for have the most limited palate in the world. They WANT their food within a very limited scope - NO EXPERIMENTING!!!! lol good grief how in the world did I wind up in the midst of them. lol

We moved back when the boy was almost 7 but dang if Mama didn't mess him up... I jest...he eats very healthy (moreso than I do) but you don't even need all of your fingers to list the foods they will eat. Mama will eat more than the son, even if she does fuss about it the whole time. ha

For example - he doesn't even want salt on cashews he buys! good grief! That isn't right! :dizzy2:

 

have you tested him to see if he is a "supertaster" or something along those lines. Some folks have ultra sensitive tastebuds and things a lot of people like are terrible, almost like flavor overload x100
rthey often eat very limited diets and also tend toward blander foods

 

On my drive home from work tonight, (5 more days Yippee!!) I realized that my youngest will be 17 next month...
Not sure whether to be happy because she is growing up or depressed because I'm getting older; :wheelchair:
but I am certain about being terrified, a 17 year old girl.....

I can't even begin to express how glad I was to have a boy...girls are maybe 90% to 100% harder to raise from every thing I've observed from people my age (and even younger now a days) that had girls to raise, and then those of us that had boys. AND that statement is very much an "in general" type of statement....average girls are much harder to raise than average boys IMO

 

got some cdb gummies and give them to my uncle. he then gave them to satan that hadnt clue.. monster returned quietly.
i cant get it into all the shit she eats or drink.

 

actually I have been very fortunate that none of my kids have gotten into any trouble or stupid crap I did when I was young.

 

We had such fun time at Australian football.
I just yelled in support for the other team lol. Got dirty looks from melbourne fans.

Went to see primus. They were on the family values tour.
That tour is run by korn. While seeing primus I got a parking g ticket by officer korn.

 

came down to the kitchen this morning and the oven was warm. I checked and it wasn't turned on, but the element was still on. turned it on and off, no difference.

now i've turned the power off to the oven and i'm waiting until it cools down completely to try turning the power back on. hopefully it fixes itself, but now I feel like I can't ever be comfortable that it won't just turn on randomly. might have to call someone in to take a look at it.

we bought it second hand for $10 so it isn't a big deal if it dies, but it is surprisingly a pretty good oven.
