Crazy people aren't the only ones who see UFO's. Jimmy Carter saw one too. Of course UFO just means unidentified flying object.
There are lots of unidentified flying objects...for real. Whether they are spaceships, inter-dimensional objects, visual abnormalities, electronic glitches, delusions, etc. is debatable.
the unknown is unknown. there are more horses then zebras, but there ARE zebras. (and on all the billions of worlds, there's a pretty good chance of dragons and unicorns too. not out of our mythologies, but people and creatures who may happen to look like but have nothing else in common with them) no reason anything has to be all one thing. the existence of one does not prevent the existence of another. a fuzzy blob of light in the sky, could be anything. but sometimes there may be something sharper and clearer with measurable properties. i don't think debate is much the point. the unknown prevents nothing nor requires. the only thing that for sure is not, is its owing anything to what we tell each other to pretend.
