actually, the "hippie" ideal is socailism. Infact, the only time pure socailism actually happend and worked was in the hippie communes back in the 60's and such. Most times, socialism gets instead in a twisted version or is nothing more the a term for "here comes communism". And to base you're belifs on communism on the manifesto is ridiculas. It was just propoganda for it, so it makes it sounds like the best system ever.
