How do the original hippies of the 60s compare to today's hippies? I mean the millennial and even Gen. Z that have taken up hippie ideas.
Their eyes are open to what's goin down. They want to change the world. They are environmentally conscious. They are politically liberal. They like pot and psychedelics. They are tuned in, turned on, and are dropping out of the rat race. They believe in Peace and not war. They are not overly materialistic. They are perhaps a bit naive, if only because they are young to the ways of the world, and more susceptible to social media manipulation. An example is how many new agers got behind the anti-vax movement. Even a few old hippies were taken by MAGA mania, I think because he wanted to change the system as an outsider, or so he said.
