Turns out this is correct. I only happen to interact with people with the issue.
I asked a pharmacist, and the response was “incorrect dosage tend to cause soft erections.”

Rosey I have a few questions:
At point B: is that a buttplug for example? Does that work with your erection?
At point D: what is trt?
At point E: will an extension give firmer erections too?

I can answer point E as I used to work for Lovehoney ,who are the largest UK Sex Toy distributer .

It will allow say someone with ED to reach the G spot of their partner and stimulate them , Some will increase girth as well and are useful with the larger lady . The drawback is some sensation can be lost by the wearer . To help compensate for this some are textured inside and some vibrate .

Thanks for your long answer Rosey! I think for my situation a lot to explore and to try. As I don't have a wife at the moment it is still very good information for me.
My home doctor didn't want to give me trt, so I have to find other ways to get that. A clinic will be a great idea.
    Again many thanks Rosey!

Getting a cock ring is a great start. Not only does it give you the constant sensation of something touching/making contact with your cock, it does a lot to help you maintain a strong erection during sex. Adding some sort of anal plug or a prostate massager goes well with a ring. As a guy gets older he can lose some of that hardness he had as a younger man. Prostate play can help with ED issues so these two, a cock ring and some sort of anal plug or device are good natural partners in helping to achieve a harder erection.

I have thought about trying some kind of helper. From the time I was 65 to now 70. I don't get rock hard any more. A few years back I asked my wife, and she told me I was still harder than some men she was with who were only in their 30s. When she was younger she admitted she liked a big hard dick, but as she got older, she used more and more lube. I would like to try just to boost my ego, and see what if it works.

Only problem with something in your ass is it can cause you to orgasm involuntarily. And that sucks, been there did that. You just suddenly ejaculate, even seconds into it.

This is from the Mayo Clinic .org. A penis pump, Something you might want to look into if you don’t want to take meds.

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem, especially following prostate surgery and in older men. Oral medications prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction include sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra, Staxyn), tadalafil (Cialis, Adcirca) and avanafil (Stendra).

Other erectile dysfunction treatments include medications inserted through the tip of your penis into the tube inside that carries urine and semen (urethra), shots you inject into your penis (penile injections), and surgically placed penile implants.

A penis pump might be a good choice if these treatments cause side effects, don't work or aren't safe for you

Age and meds tend to complicate things. I'm not nearly as hard as when I was younger but good oral skills from a patient and understanding partner gets me there. Obviously pills help. I've done Trimix shots (professionally prescribed) and just recently tried PT-141. Either or both of those gives me old fashioned boners almost to the point that one of my friends doesn't go all way down my shaft during oral anymore. She kind of liked it when it was just nice and fat, not rock hard. Still gets me off though, I just have to be satisfied with watching me pump with only half of me in her mouth!

Talking to your doc and insisting on a urologist visit is very important. That's their job and they do get the nuances and challenges we all have. My meds definitely have a negative impact BUT my urologist took all of that into consideration when she prescribed and then adjusted my ED meds. It was a huge relief to have someone understand the issue and give me some assurance that it could be addressed. And being open with your partners makes it less stressful knowing that they understand what you've got going on. I lost an erection early recently with a partner who immediately assured me that her handjob was almost as good as her mouth. It was and I got her off with my fingers even before she finished me and watching her climax got me up again long enough for her to let me orally finish. She knew that things could sometimes not work as planned but handled it (pun intended) very well.

I’m 65 and can still get a good erection most of the time. However, after a few drinks, it can be difficult to maintain after 5 minutes or so. So my Dr gave me 20 mg of viagra pills. I usually cut in half and take 10mg, but if I’ve had more than one drink, I’ll take the whole 20mg. My wife loves it and I can maintain a very hard erection for her to have multiple organisms.

I got my Sildenafil (generic Viagra).

Did you know the cost of Viagra is exorbitant?! - it's in the hundreds (yeah there's an "s" at the end of hundred there...). This is the generic and the price is ludicris!

I bitched and they gave me a staggering discount though... :D

Pharmacist said no one will buy it otherwise too.

I didn't tell my fiance yet. I will write to her...

I get Sildenafil. 20 20mg pills for $12 US. So using only half, pretty reasonable in the US.

I have a hard time getting hard and in fact, rarely ever do. I'm 60. I also have CLL.(Leukemia) I tried looking into the pills but the website keyed on the CLL and said I need to talk to my doc. Anyone here had any success dealing with CLL and ED?

I take the 2.5 mg daily Tadalifil (generic Cialis). After insurance, my copay is $21 for a 90 day supply. I'm 60 years old and you could hang a wet beach towel on my boner!

Yes, Tadalafil is very good. I take 5.0 mg. Not every day of the week, but during Thursday to Sunday. These are the days we both are likely to have sex. The medication works extremly well and the erections are very strong and consistent.

I have really mixed feelings about the medication approach. A good boner is awesome, yet I find much more to life, so if medicating gives me boner facility but also turns out to have some debilitating effect on my overall health later then I'd consider it a poor trade-off. Of course we all have our individual priorities and that's fine, it's just that mine preclude taking the potential risk of immediate gratification from the medication. And since I want to prioritize being as functional as possible for as long as possible, I'll place my own bets an all natural approach of lifestyle. YMMV.

Talked to Roman awhile ago. Roman | Digital Health Clinic for Men (getroman.com) I got brand name Viagra from them; 100 mg tablets.

I had tried sildenafil as I mentioned, and previously I had taken 50 mg with lackluster results.

Last night I took 100 mg of the remaining sildenafil to see if it works... :rolleyes:o_O:oops: Please don't ask me how I'm evaluating that. :D

Anyway, it was again not the result I was after. Initially, my problem seemed to persist...

But when I awoke some 6 hours after taking my two 50 mg tablets, the medication had taken effect.

    -----

My interpretation of the result is it just takes maybe 2 or 3 hours before the medication is fully effective. o_O
